Max Styler is an American DJ and record producer.[2] Best known for the singles 'Bad Man' and 'Feel It', Styler has released music via Dim Mak Records in the genres of future bass and future house. He has also remixed songs for artists including Prince Fox and Diplo.

Early life[edit]
Styler grew up in San Luis Obispo, California and was born with a foot condition that prevented him from walking.[3] The condition healed when his family took him to a doctor in San Diego.[3] Upon producing his first song, he sent it to an A&R representative named Johnny Kenny, who would eventually become his manager and book him for a show with Above & Beyond. The event became the kickstarter to his musical career.[4]

Having signed to Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Records on his 18th birthday,[5] Styler released his debut EP, Aftershock, in 2015 via the label. On February 4, 2016, he collaborated with Graves, a record producer who has worked on the Grammy-winning Kanye West album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,[6] to release the song 'Fly'.[7]
He released his debut studio album, Heartache on November 9, 2016, via Dim Mak, featuring nine songs.[8] Two singles 'Gold' and 'Awakening' were released from the album.[4] A remix by Torro Torro for Styler's song 'Bad Man' with Autoerotique was nominated for Best Dance Recording of the Year at the 2016 Juno Awards.
In January 2017, he debuted on the Canadian record label Monstercat by releasing the song 'Roller Coaster' as a collaboration with fellow producer Dirty Audio.[1] His first collaboration with fellow producer Makj titled 'Knock Me Down' was released in March.[9] It features vocalist Elayna Boynton. In July that year, he released the future bass song 'Promises' featuring singer-songwriter GØLDN.[10] In September 2017, the single 'Secrets' was released by Styler featuring vocalist Chloe Papandrea, who is also known as CXLOE.[11] In October that year, Styler remixed a song for Prince Fox, that was included in the latter's remix EP, titled 'Just Call'.[12]
In January 2018, Styler released the future house track 'All Your Love' via Dim Mak.[13] In June that year, he collaborated with Aoki, Deorro and Makj to release the song 'Shakalaka'.[14][15] In July, he remixed the Diplo song 'Color Blind', a collaboration with Lil Xan.[16] It was released via Mad Decent and Columbia Records. In September 2018, he released 'On My Mind'. His song 'Feel It' debuted on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart at number 38 in the week of September 8, 2018.[17][18]
