Additionally, the download manager offers the optional installation of several safe and trusted 3rd party applications and browser plugins which you may choose to install or not during the download process.

Survival games are perfect for co-op sessions, at least if they are simple enough not to require entire days of practice and tutorials. Hence, local multiplayer sessions can be a lot of fun under the right conditions, especially if there’s a bit of a challenge involved and enough content for the game not to become boring after a while.

Up to four players can work together to fight the zombie waves, on the other hand, at least if you have enough controllers.

A lot of features are planned in the game’s feature, but even this stripped down version is pretty engaging. Hence, you start with a simple tutorial that shows you the basics, although it can be a tad disorienting sometimes when it comes to what you have to do in order keep the lessons rolling. After that, you can try the actual game and see whether you have what it takes to stay alive in the midst of the apocalypse.

Build shelters and attack enemies that get too close

The crafting component is not too bad either, even if it’s a bit too basic sometimes. Hence, you have to gather various resources from around the map, such as wood by cutting down trees. After that, the only thing you have to do is press a few buttons and decide where to place the structures. It’s important to have some kind of plan in mind while doing this, because good positioning is key during a siege.

Speaking of which, the zombies are not particularly bright, but they come in great numbers, so it doesn’t take long to get overwhelmed. Building fences, spikes or defensive towers is a great way to keep the invasion at bay, but sometimes it’s more important to slow the zombies down rather than to kill them. You can do this yourself using a variety of weapons, but it’s not as enjoyable as it sounds at this point.

A very promising game for survival fans

In the end, Don't Bite Me Bro! has everything a good sandbox game needs in order to keep you engaged for many hours. Granted, it’s a bit rough around the edges at this point, but future versions are certainly going to be a lot more polished.
